As higher education has become more and more expensive, debt management has become one of the most crippling issues for recent generations. To help prepare UCLA students for this, the UBS Financial Services Committee is working with Northwestern Mutual to host a workshop discussing the topic of student debt. This is a perfect opportunity for students to learn valuable information and skills that are often ignored in the classroom.

Topics that will be covered include:

• Student loan debt

• Credit Card debt

• Balancing paying off your debt and responsibly saving money

It will be focused on what students can do while they are still in school as well as what they should be doing during their first year outside of college.
