Get to Know Bruin Value Investing
Bruin Value Investing, UCLA’s premier finance organization and real-money investment fund, is recruiting new talent to join this fall.
As the oldest undergraduate finance organization at UCLA, they teach their members the skills needed to become successful investors and develop them into outstanding professionals in different fields of business and finance, placing them at the most prestigious financial institutions, ranging from investment banks to buy-side firms.
Using value investing principles, the group monitors public equities and pitches selected stocks as potentially under-valued opportunities to include in the real-money Bruin Investment Fund. As a result, members move on to pursue careers at leading firms, such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Evercore, KKR, Blackstone, Qatalyst, and more.
Successful candidates will participate in a rigorous training program covering core topics in investing, accounting, valuation, Excel, and financial modeling in order to identify investment opportunities and prepare for professional recruitment processes. Potential candidates should be highly motivated individuals who are interested in analyzing financial markets, learning more about businesses, and investing.
